Overview

As a Sr. General Liability Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving general liability claims. Your expertise as a Claims Adjuster with a focus on General Liability will be essential in analyzing and evaluating claims to ensure fair and efficient settlement.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage general liability claims from initiation to resolution
• Communicate with claimants, witnesses, and legal representatives to gather information and evidence
• Analyze policy coverage and determine liability and settlement amounts
• Collaborate with legal and medical professionals to assess claim validity and injury severity
• Prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders on claim status and trends
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster specializing in General Liability
• In-depth knowledge of general liability insurance policies and regulations
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AIC, SCLA) will be a plus

Day-to-day

• Review and prioritize new general liability claims
• Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence
• Communicate with various parties involved in the claims process
• Analyze coverage and determine liability and potential settlement
• Document all claim activities and maintain accurate records
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on industry trends and best practice
