Job Description

The Recruiter position holds primary responsibility to manage the full cycle of recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates in collaboration with the hiring manager and other stakeholders; to include but not limited to networking, marketing and public relations activities directly related to finding qualified applicants for AbilityOne positions, and non-AbilityOne positions.

Wages: $60,000-62,400 DOE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of experience in recruitment and/or sales environment.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass background checks, reference checks and pre-employment drug test

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Design and update job descriptions 
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like StackOverflow and Behance) 
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates 
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms 
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person) 
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally 
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers 
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits 
  • Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire 
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events 
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs 
  • Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard 
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations concerning employment laws 
  • Knowledge of recruitment resources 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Efficient, system driven and able to work within structure 
  • Computer literate, adept in using range of Microsoft and other applications 
  • Organized, detailed and goal oriented 
  • High degree of confidentiality 
  • Able to make quick and logical decisions 
  • Able to work in a team environment, and comfortable interacting with all levels of employees 
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

JOB CONDITIONS:

Normal working hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an hour for lunch. Hours may vary according to the agency’s needs. This position is exempt and does not receive overtime pay. Travel to the various contracts may be required. Position works in an office setting and has up to 80% remote work-from-home flexibility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Network with agencies serving people with disabilities who are seeking employment opportunities for the people they serve. 
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures of the Work Projects 
  • Participate in Job Fairs

LEGAL 

  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws pertaining to employment law and recruiting practices, such as Ban-The-Box, Interview Questionnaires, HIPAA, etc.
