Audiologist - Innovative Ear Care Startup - Chicago

Ear Bar is a new ear care startup in the heart of Chicago (River North) with an innovative care model that combines audiology and otolaryngology expertise to address an unmet need in aging and young adult patient populations.

We are looking for someone special. You are dedicated to delivering clinical quality and expertise, you welcome the uncertainty and opportunity of a new venture to do things right and make an impact. You are willing to roll up your sleeves to collaboratively take on any task large or small needed to make the dream work.

Please note that this position starts as a part-time position (24 hours per week), with the goal of quickly converting to full-time along with patient volume growth.

Responsibilities

• Fitting hearing aids, conducting auditory training, counseling patients and families
• Increasing efficiencies and best practices while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Maintaining legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards
• Work 3 days per week hours 9-5pm

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Audiology
• Appropriately licensed in the State of Illinois
• 2-5 years’ experience in clinical practice preferred
• Business experience a plus
