Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role at SAN FRANCISCO EAR, NOSE & THROAT MEDICAL GROUP, INC. The Audiologist will be responsible for administering diagnostic tests, evaluating results, and providing treatment recommendations. In this role, the Audiologist will also be responsible for fitting and dispensing hearing aids and other assistive devices, as well as counseling patients and families on hearing healthcare and communication strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of audiology concepts, principles, and practices
  • Experience administering diagnostic tests, evaluating results, and providing treatment recommendations
  • Proficiency in fitting and dispensing hearing aids and other assistive devices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to counsel patients and families on hearing healthcare and communication strategies
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data, and make sound clinical judgments
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
  • Experience with electronic medical records and audiology-specific software
  • Doctorate degree in Audiology
  • Licensure in the state of California
  • Certification from the American Board of Audiology or other recognized accrediting body
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population is a plus
