Job Description

Trading Analyst:

Role Overview

As an integral member of the Operations team, you will contribute to the smooth execution of key business functions, including trade processing, portfolio manager launches, and market expansions. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Trade Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of trades, working with external brokers, prime brokers, and internal teams
  • Post-Trade Processing: Oversee and execute post-trade operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new portfolio managers, products, and markets, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects to enhance and automate back-office workflows using tools like Python, Alteryx, or equivalent technologies
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with front-office and back-office teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience, ideally within financial services or a related industry
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with advanced skills in Excel functions and shortcuts
  • Familiarity with programming or data analysis tools like Python, Alteryx, VBA, or similar platforms
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to make well-informed decisions in real-time based on market developments

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote each week
