Job Title: Sr/Lead Controls PM

Location: Omaha, NE

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Senior/Lead Controls Project Manager to oversee complex Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) projects in Omaha, NE. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in managing high-value commercial and industrial projects, ensuring seamless integration of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for large-scale HVAC controls and BAS installations, ensuring technical precision, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to design, install, and optimize DDC/BAS solutions, integrating systems such as Tridium, Distech, Trane, and ALC.
Oversee project financials, schedules, and risk management, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Utilize industry-leading software tools like Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), Trimble AutoBid, and MS Project for project tracking, documentation, and coordination.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and best practices while providing technical support to field teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing HVAC controls, BAS, or DDC projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, piping, and energy management strategies.
Expertise in DDC/BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Alerton, Distech, BACnet, and Schneider Electric.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), and MS Project.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Local and stable work history in the Omaha, NE market, demonstrating industry expertise and reliability.
