Sr. Business Analyst (Payment Processing) NY Metro Area

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with various teams across the organization on a Payment Processing related project. This role focuses on facilitating efficient and effective payment processing, reconciliation, and integration processes across credit card payments, reward programs, user profile management, and guest user checkouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis (70%) : Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to capture and analyze requirements for new systems, processes, and interfaces, using methods such as interviews, workshops, surveys, etc. Document both current and future states with tools like wireframes, workflows, and presentations.
• Collaboration with IT and QA (20%) : Work with IT teams (onshore and offshore) for development and system testing, including facilitating UAT to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Other Duties (5%) : Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Payment Processing Expertise : In-depth knowledge of credit card payment processing, including authorization, capture, refund, and reconciliation with bank settlements.
• Technical Documentation : Experience in documenting requirements using functional specifications, user stories, swim lane diagrams, process flows, and AS-IS/TO-BE analysis.
• System Integration : Strong understanding of back-end integration, especially across enterprise systems.
• SDLC and Agile/Scrum : Solid grasp of SDLC processes, with a preference for Agile/Scrum experience.
• Business Process Design : Skilled in designing and analyzing business processes and workflows.
• IT Standards and Security : Knowledge of IT standards, policies, and security practices.
• Project Management : Familiar with project management methodologies and tools; Jira knowledge is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry Experience :Experience in building eCommerce, marketing, and sales systems.
• Additional Tools : Knowledge of Google Suite, Lucid Charts, SAP BTP, and ERP systems.
