Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Lake Zurich, IL

Salary: $85,000-$95,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our client's organization in the Lake Zurich, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidelines to support the implementation of quality agreements and key QMS requirements.
• Review supplier quality improvement plans for compliance with quality agreements and key quality systems.
• Manage document control, including ECO processing and associated records/logs.
• Oversee training notifications, records, and logs.
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List and manage supplier qualification and monitoring activities.
• Prepare for audits, support during audits, and assist with the completion of audit corrective actions.
• Initiate and maintain CAPA records/logs and track actions through completion.
• Handle complaints and regulatory reporting, maintaining records/logs and tracking to completion.
• Assist with equipment-related actions and records, including calibration/maintenance and out-of-tolerance investigations.
• Review and complete manufacturing records, LHRs, and inspection records.
• Manage NCMR, rework, and deviation records/logs, tracking actions through completion.
• Handle returned materials, maintaining records/logs and tracking actions through completion.
• Assist with other QMS-related tasks and actions as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar.
• Over 3 years of experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong background in medical device manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of statistical tools and effective use of Design of Experiments (DOE) for recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
