Sample & Supplier Operations Associate

This role is based on-site in our Boston, MA office. Attendance is required Monday - Thursday, Friday is WFH optional. Occasional travel to our retail lab in Norton, MA may be required.

Summary

The Sample & Supplier Operations Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of product samples for our internal teams. This role will coordinate sample requests from internal stakeholders, order samples, maintain records, and manage supplier communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and excited to work on a fast paced team.

The Sample & Supplier Ops Associate will join our Curation, Brands, & Stores Enablement team within the commercial organization. Our team enables key commercial priorities through operations support, project management, and analytics. One way we support our commercial priorities is through procuring and managing product samples used for quality auditing, photography, merchandising, and physical retail operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage the end-to-end sample process, from request, to order, and post-order management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Manage intake of sample requests, process sample orders, and maintain accurate records
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sample operations
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure sample availability meets business needs.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like business, supply chain, or engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills. You can organize and prioritize your tasks; handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You work well with your stakeholders; intaking requests, reporting on status, and communicating with partners.
• Experience using spreadsheets and other business tools (Excel or Sheets) to organize your work
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy. You enjoy working hard, having fun, and doing so with sharp attention to detail.

Bonus Points

• Experience working in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
• Experience using advanced spreadsheet features and/or SQL
