Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 65-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues.  Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Recipient Rights and Court Liaison position.

Position Description

  • Receives complaints concerning patient rights, conducts investigations and reports results according to state and hospital standards.
  • Trains and communicates with staff concerning patient rights, best practices, and collaborates for solutions to address patient grievance and complaints.
  • Advocates for patients by being present and available on all patient care units and acting as a resource for resolving issues.
  • Facilitates all coordination needed with the Probate Court system.
  • Coordinate and participate in the Recipient Rights Advisory Committee.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent Requires, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a recipient rights adviser, patient advocate or court liaison preferred.
  • Previous Attendance at MDCH Training Conference preferred or can obtain once hired.
