Procurement Manager

Shelton, CT - Hybrid (Fridays remote)

$115,000-$150,000

This role focuses on Indirect Procurement , with a strong emphasis on Marketing and Category Spend . The Procurement Manager will support global indirect categories, particularly Marketing and Corporate Services , by leading sourcing initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate risks and issues at the program level, escalating as needed.
• Work with suppliers to ensure service targets are met.
• Drive continuous process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop appropriate sourcing solutions.
• Develop and execute category strategies to drive value and cost savings.
• Negotiate and manage contracts for Global and North American Marketing agency spend.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, driving value creation and innovation.
• Ensure marketing spend is optimized and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Oversee vendor management for key marketing service providers, maximizing strategic vendor relationships.
• Manage all Global Indirect spend categories under the direction of the Director, Marketing & Corporate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in indirect procurement with a focus on marketing and corporate services.
• Strong background in vendor management and global strategic sourcing .
• Expertise in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process .
• Ability to manage and negotiate commercial contracts .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost analysis skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience working with executive-level stakeholders to drive results.
