Title : Non-Technical Data Analyst 1

Client is seeking a Non-Technical Data Analyst to support database management, analyze data processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business performance. This role is integral to ensuring data accuracy and supporting global initiatives, requiring excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to define data requirements and implement best practices for data manipulation and storage.
  • Design, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes.
  • Modify and optimize existing databases and management systems, directing programmers and analysts on required changes.
  • Test and debug database programs, resolving errors and implementing improvements.
  • Manage and sustain the Global Warranty Management System (GWM) by implementing change requests and enhancements.
  • Analyze and resolve dealer warranty claim rejections in collaboration with the Dealer Business Center (DBC) and SAP.
  • Perform daily updates to the Labor Information System (GMLID) and create reports to identify areas requiring updates.
  • Collaborate with the Labor Time Activity Group to address labor time guide (LTG) issues.
  • Raise, track, and escalate IT tickets to address identified issues or implement system enhancements.
  • Support global business partners and ensure alignment with operational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • 0 2 years of relevant experience in database technologies and ETL processes.
    • Proficiency in at least one scripting language.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving expertise with a desire to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of the automotive industry, vehicle dealerships, or aftersales field service operations.
    • Experience in managing complex and unique problems with a focus on process improvement and waste reduction.
    • Familiarity with SAP systems and warranty claim processes.
    • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

  • Perform analysis to detect trends and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a global perspective to align with organizational goals.
