Job Description

As a Material Handler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our organization. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be essential in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the production process.

You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring the availability of materials and products for production and distribution. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory accuracy
• Retrieve and distribute materials to production areas or shipping locations as needed
• Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks

• Basic computer skills for inventory management
