Job Title: Java Cloud Developer - W2/Fulltime only - We can provide sponsorship

Duration: Long Term

Location: Durham, NC - Hybrid - In-Person Interview

*REQUIRED SKILLS*

1) REST APIs development, Strong Java EE Skills

2) 3+ years AWS services (Lambda, S3, SNS, RDS, MSK), Docker. Must be hands-on with AWS within the past year

3) Must have recent hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka

4) Frameworks – Spring, JPA, mybatis/hibernate & CI/CD(Jenkins).

5) Database knowledge – Oracle and PostgreSQL.

6) Monitoring – Datadog, Splunk, Kibana

*INTERVIEW SETUP*

Two Rounds

1) Behavioural and Technical on high level required skills.

2) Coding/Practical and Deep dive into required skills. ( in-person)

The Expertise we’re looking for.

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
• 6+ years of experience in implementing and developing software development in Java and Micro services.
• Cloud technology experience preferably AWS
• Extensive experience in Object Oriented Programming (Java, Scala, Python), data movement technologies (ETL/ELT), Messaging Technologies (ActiveMQ, Kafka), Relational and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Spark, Elastic search, Graph database, Stream Processing (Flink, Storm), Java Spring, Web APIs and in-memory technologies.
• Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open-source technologies
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)
• Understanding of container and serverless architecture (Docker, Kubernetes etc…)
• Good experience building and deploying software using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, and monitoring platforms like Datadog, Splunk.
• Solid experience in Relational databases like Oracle, CrDB, Postgres, or no-SQL databases such as MongoDB
• Familiarity in deploying and managing the Machine Learning models.
• Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM).
• Solid understanding on PERF testing and metrics collection.
