Job Description

I am currently working with a leading AM LAW top 100 ranked firm , who are actively looking to recruit an Attorney who specializes in Investment Funds to join their Chicago office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment fund agreements, including partnership agreements and offering documents.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues related to investment funds.
• Collaborate with clients, fund managers, and other stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
• represent private companies, including both domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
• 2+ years of experience as an Investment Funds Attorney, ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
• In-depth knowledge of investment fund laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
