We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Funeral Director to join our dedicated team. If you’re passionate about serving others and making a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply. General working hours from 830 to 5pm Mon- Saturday having a day off during the week and we do not work in the office on Sundays, just by phone, ie taking call, and our directors work every other Saturday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with grieving families to discuss funeral arrangements, memorial services, and burial plans.
• Coordinate all aspects of funeral services, including scheduling, transportation, and documentation.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of the deceased, ensuring respectful handling and care.
• File necessary permits and paperwork, including death certificates and burial authorizations.
• Lead funeral services and memorial ceremonies, providing guidance and support to families.
• Ensure the facility and vehicles are maintained and prepared for services.
• Offer grief support and provide resources to families following the funeral.
• Adhere to all legal and ethical requirements surrounding funeral and burial practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid Funeral Director Florida License or Intern’s License/ valid Driver’s License too
• Experience in funeral service or a related field preferred
• Compassionate, understanding, and able to provide exceptional customer service
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
