Job Description

At Aletek we provide solutions to make gas compression and heavy mine equipment engines more productive, reliable, and safe. This exciting role is to help support and grow our market share in the USA. This role will be based out of our Denver, CO office and will involve frequent travel within the mid-west region to visit our potential clients and jobsites.

 

1.1 Customer Support Key Responsibilities Key Results Area

Serve as In-Field Aletek representative

· Providing service solutions and enhanced customer satisfaction

· Identifying and communicating with Aletek team, solutions for the customer’s benefit

· Maintaining technical and product knowledge of all products and equipment

· Offering correct service and parts recommendations

· Performing visual inspections, taking notes, sketches, and photos to report back to the customer for maintenance recommendations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.2 Installation and Training Key Responsibilities Key Results Area

Installing blankets and replacement parts

· Inspecting, assembling, and replacing exhaust pipes and blankets as required

· Documenting machine information and repairs completed on work order, including time and materials used.

· Performing in-field installations

· Traveling with hand tools to remote locations via air flights etc.

Training customers

· Assisting and training customers in the maintenance and installation of Aletek products.

· Training customers on fire mitigation practices, product care, and product selection

2. Extent of Authority

· Recommendations to customers for future work and parts

· Vehicle care and tool requirements and maintenance

· Most efficient routing to complete daily jobs

· Use of time while onsite

· Safety measures while onsite

· Maintaining site access requirements

· All tasks required to complete a job

 

3. Key Performance Metrics

· 95% of work completed on schedule.

· 0 Callbacks to correct work.

· 100% attendance at team meetings required of this role

 

4. Experience, Education, Qualifications, and Licensing4.1 Level of Supervision / Independence

· TBD

· Ability to work with the elements and in remote areas safely and smartly

· Ability to communicate with introvert type personas without impairing execution of tasks

· Preparedness to get dirty and physically manipulate or climb (tight spots on equipment) to complete installations.

· Proficient knowledge of various tools and equipment used on site.

· Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the workplace and at the mine sites following all safety rules and regulations.

· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with team members and customers.

· Observe all safety procedures and checklists including travel and avoidance of substance use.

· Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all tools and customer equipment.

· Conduct yourself in the presence of customers and the community to present a professional image of Aletek.

· Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

· Participate in all company/location-driven communication efforts including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts.

· Maintain proper timesheets for travel and work completed.

· Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

 

4.4 Qualifications and Licensing

· Possess excellent mechanical skills.

· Ability to assemble and perform tasks on large mining equipment.

· Current and valid driver’s license as outlined in the company policy manual.

· Graduated from a related diesel technology program (preferred).

· Have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

· Be able to travel as needed on short notice.

· Be prepared to travel 3 days per week average (air and road)
