Job Description

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• Identify drawings within the discipline which need to be sealed, from the Master Document Register
• Review and sealing of Civil and Structure drawings with exception of geotechnical engineering.

Sealing requirements includes;

• Civil and structural design calculations
• Paving and drainage drawings
• Storm water management report and calculations
• Grading plans and cross sections
• Plans for proposed civil improvements to the site, such as; roadways, sidewalks, parking, utilities, lighting, etc.
• Performs additional assignments according to supervisor’s direction.

Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

• Experienced in review and sealing drawings within the Civil & Structural Discipline
• SME of engineering calculations.
• Familiar with software packages.
• Familiar with Data Base packages
• Work within an established project scope of work, schedule and budget.
• Computer literate with typical office packages and basic computer literacy
• Knowledge of API, ASME, NFPA, ISO and other international standards and codes.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of Oil & Gas/Chemical process and associated facilities engineering and understands the technical issues in related engineering disciplines (instrumentation, controls, electrical, civil, mechanical, environmental, safety and drafting).
